Analysis method for failure probability of bank slope based on radial base function

High non-linear implicit characteristic of performance function,which was established based on limit equilibrium theory,for bank slope and its difference during calculation of reliability degree were analyzed.An approximate explicit expression for high non-linear implicit performance function was educed based on radial base kernel function by means of its simulation ability and reflection arithmetic to convert variables from low dimensions space to high dimensions space.An arithmetic to approach high non-linear implicit function accurately by explicit expression containing kernel function through stepwise iteration was further researched.Based on the result mentioned above,an analysis method for reliability degree index for failure probability of bank slope was put forward.A failure probability for bank of mountain slope was analyzed by the method for reliability degree index.A relative error of failure probability between accurate value calculated by Monte Carlo simulation method and the value calculated by the method for reliability degree index is 0.852% and absolute error is 0.133%.The calculation cost of the latter is 0.5% of Monte Carlo simulation method.
