Detection technology of railway subgrade frost heave and rail crawling

A non- touching detection technology of rail crawl and surface subgrade frost heaving was proposed based on machine vision optical imaging principle aiming at the shortcomings of the rail height detection technology for the frost heave of rail. The equipment processes image by methods of template matching,automatic thresholding,image mathematical morphology processing and so on,based on the principle of optical imaging.Transfer the real- time date back to the WEB data server through the GPRS wireless communication technology.The equipment can improve the operation safety of railway in cold area.
