Emergency response simulation on urban public safety

The computer simulation is an important means for urban public safety emergency response. This article reviews the major methods used for the urban disaster digital simulation and emergency response simulation, proposes an urban public safety emergency response simulation system framework based on the GSS and DDDAS. The key technologies which are involved to this system are analyzed. These discussions explore the technical way for the establishment of dynamic simulation system served for the emergency response process and a new urban emergency evaluation system and urban safety planning model.
