Residents' attitude to urban biodiversity conservation and its influencing factors:a case study of Wenjiang District of Chengdu City

Using urban biodiversity conservation survey data of 2015 in Wenjiang District of Chengdou City,this essay makes an empirical analysis on the residents' attitudes toward biodiversity conservation and its influencing factors by Logistic Model based on Cognition and Behavior Theory. The results show that the residents of Wenjiang District who hold positive attitudes toward biodiversity conservation have a high proportion,accounting for 87% of the sample; Education,"familiarity with Wenjiang biodiversity "and "whether like Wenjiang ecological environment"( cognitive factors) are the main factors influencing the residents ' attitudes toward biodiversity conservation; The factors of attitudes toward biodiversity conservation vary from residents living in different places,the main difference is that local people's attitude towards biodiversity conservation are greatly associated with education level,and residents in other counties whose attitudes are significantly influenced by "familiarity with Wenjiang biodiversity".
