Flavone extraction technology from Lespedeza dunnii and the measurement of its antioxidant ability

Using 70% ethanol as extraction reagent,the crude flavonoid powder in which the content of pure flavonoids was 28.7% could be extracted from L.dunnii.The refined flavonoid powder in which the pure flavonoids reached 78.15% could be obtained after being purified by AB-8 macroporous resin.The antioxidant experiments indicated that L.dunnii flavonoids had some functions to clear free radical and superoxide anion,and the effect of clearance became more obvious with the content of flavonoids inceased.The clearance ability of refined flavonoids was stronger than that of crude flavonoids.The POV of lard was decreased remarkably after some L.dunnii flavonoids were put into,but the degree of decreased POV was less than that of PG.The synergistic experiment showed that L.dunnii flavonoids couldn't strengthen the antioxidant ability of PG.L.dunnii flavonoids are worth exploring as a natural antioxidant material.
