Effect of salicylic acid on the under-stress growth and penetrating adjustment capability of soybean

The seedlings cultured with Hoagland solution were treated with salicylic acid(SA) 0.3 mmol/L under NaCl 100 and 200 mmol/L stress.The result showed that SA increased the chlorophyll content and the organic osmotica contents such as proline(Pro),soluble sugar(SS) and free amino acid(AA),enhanced the activities of root and nitrate reductase.Therefore,the determination of growth and physiology parameters indicate that osmotic adjustment ability was raised,water stress and the injuries of seedlings induced by the salt stress were mitigated with SA treatment;The effect of SA on seedlings under NaCl 100 mmol/L is better than that NaCl 200 mmol/L.
