Detection on Looseness of Inner Rings for Freight Train Bearings

Sensors of Acoustic Emission(AE) and vibration acceleration are used to inspect the fault of looseness for inner rings of freight train bearings,and the method of wavelet packet analytical is adopted to withdraw characteristic vectors of the fault signals.Energy distribution of inner rings in the conditions of no looseness and looseness are compared,and the ratio between the energy in high frequency and total energy is taken as a characteristic parameter.The fault of looseness for the inner rings is diagnosed effectively.
