Research Progress on Friction and Wear Properties of Self-lubrication Spherical Bearings

The tribological performance of self-lubrication spherical bearing investigated by numerous studies in recent ten years is reviewed.Friction and wear mechanisms of different materials are discussed.The effects of speed,load and different liner material on the tribological properties are analyzed.The problems of friction and wear properties are proposed that may exist in self-lubrication spherical bearing.It is suggested that high speed,heavy load and thermal behavior are the future research topics in self-lubrication spherical bearing.
