HHT Based on SVM and Mirror Extension and Its Application in Fault Diagnosis of Rolling Bearings

The mirror surface is needed to put at the local extreme point in the Hilbert-Huang Transform(HHT) based on mirror extension to deal with end effect.A part of data can be cut off for long data sequence,then mirror surface is put at the local extreme point,but this method is inapplicable to short data sequence.Therefore,take advantage of Support Vector Machines(SVM) in the prediction of small sample and combined it with HHT based on mirror extension,end effect is controlled effectively and is verified by simulation experiment.
