The Improved APAGE Molecular Marker Technology Suited for Mapping Gliadin"Fingerprint"of Wheat Variety in China

According to the APAGE standard method issued by ISTA, an improved methOd dis-cussed in this study has the advantages of higher efficiency, more accuracy and economization, which make it a practical rnethod fOr mapping gliadin fingerprints with home-rnade elec-trophoretic instrumnts and reagents. It overcame the problems existing in other APAG meth-ods, such as difficulty of stripping, low resoving poWer and exPerimental efficiency, the way ofband identification was also improved. bo this study could provide a realiable technique forrnapping "fingerprint" of domestic central germplasm and applying in the fields of wheatgermplasm resources research, analysis of parental relations, grain trade, variety identificationand bo processing as well.
