Second development of ANSYS and its application in finite element analysis of dam

Based on ANSYS APDL language, the linear and nonlinear finite element method programs for static analysis of dam are made in this paper. The modele is simple and practical. The examples show that the solution is highly accurate and proved to be satisfactory.
