Effect of NaCl stress on lipid peroxidation and activity of cell defense enzymes in the leaves of Cercis chinensis seedlings

Lipid peroxidation and activity of cell defense enzymes in the leaves of Cercis chinensis seedlings were studied under salt stress.The results showed that at the increase of salt contents in treatments,the content of MDA and electrolyte leakage showed an increasing trend;the activities of SOD,POD,CAT increased at first and then decreased later;at the prolonging of treatment,electrolyte leakage and the content of MDA showed an increasing trend;however the changes of activities of SOD,POD and CAT were irregular.
