Optimization of resource allocation in construction using genetic algorithms

This paper presents a genetic algorithm model for optimization of resource allocation in construction.Based on the problem characteristics,the code scheme,genetic operators and a new repairing operator are described.An illustrative example is presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed approach which can effectively provide the optimum solution to resource allocation problem.
