The study of soil nutrients of Larix principis-rupprechtii plantations at different altitudes in the northern mountainous of Hebei

This article aims to study the spatial distribution of soil nutrients of Larix principis-rupprechtii plantations at different altitudes in the northern mountainous regions of Hebei province,China.Using the SPSS statistical software to analysis the spatial distribution,coefficient of variation and the relationship between the soil nutrients.The results showed:(1) The pH value of soil ranged from 4.850 to 6.377;the highest contents of organic matter,available K,total N,alkaline hydrolysis N,total P and available P were all observed at the altitude of 1 800 m larch plantations.In addition,a decreasing trend with the increasing soil depth was found on the whole.(2) The coefficient variation of nutrients were used to reflect the heterogeneity of soil nutrients.And only at the altitude 1 800 m,the coefficient variation of the pH value of topsoil was less than 0.1,as a weak variability,20-40 cm of soil organic matter and total P and the 0-10,10-20 cm of total N showed high variations.(3) Soil nutrients showed correlations.Organic matters had significantly positive correlations with available K,total N,available N,total P,and had highly significant positive correlation with soil pH value.
