The magnetic particles with uniform grain size, less aggregation and excellent crystallinity can be prepared by hydrothermal method. In this paper, the advances in preparing α -Fe2O3, (Mn, Zn)Fe2O4 and other magnetic powders by hydrothermal method are reviewed in detail.
