Loss Property of NiZn Power Ferrite Used at MHz Frequency

The NiZn ferrite materials with excess iron, stoichiometric iron and deficiency iron were prepared. Their frequency and temperature dependence of loss was analyzed. We find that the loss-mechanism of the material is hysteresis loss below 0.5MHz and hysteresis-aftereffect loss above 0.5MHz mainly. While the content of iron changes the materials have different temperatures at which the lowest loss occours. Generally material with stoichiometric iron has the highest temperature at which the lowest loss occours, then the deficiency iron one, and last the excess iron one.
