Microwave Absorbing Properties of (La_(0.5)Na_(0.5))_xBa_(1-x)Fe_(12)O_(19)Nanosized Ferrite Powders

(La_(0.5)Na_(0.5))_xBa_(1-x)Fe_(12)O_(19)M-type hexagonal ferrite powder was synthesized by citric acid sol-gel auto-combustion. The crystal of the ferrite was confirmed by XRD. The influence of doping amount on the complex dielectric constant and permeability of the ferrite was researched. The result indicates that microwave absorbtion properties of the ferrite can be improved evidently by doping proper amount of lanthanum. The sample (La_(0.5)Na_(0.5))_xBa_1-_xFe_(12)O_(19) has good microwave absorbtion properties.
