Fabrication of Large-Area Little-Period(2+1)-Dimensional Photonic Lattices of Photorefractive

The(2+1)-dimensional large-area little-period photonic lattices of photorefractive fabricated employing optically-induced method in LiNbO3:Fe crystal is experimentally investigated.The(2+1)-dimensional large-area little-period photonic lattices of photorefractive,which lattice distance is 13μm×13μm and area is about 5.7mm2,has been fabricated successfully when adopting the laser which wavelength is 532nm.The results show that the index distribution of the fabricated photonic lattices is strongly dependent on the polarization states and irradiation time.The optimized parameters of fabricating large-area and little period structure photonic lattices are presented,and the points need to pay attention to experimentation are narrated in detail.
