Research on Test and Simulation of Engine Thermal Management System

QI Bin, NI Ji-min, GU Ning, ZHONG Yun (The Institute of Energy and Emission Control of Engine,Tongji University,Shanghai 201804,China)  
The test bench for engine thermal management system was built up by simulating the engine installation and application conditions like the water tank,the fan,the engine layout,the accessory and the pipe connection in the whole vehicle.The test conditions were designed according to the parameter input requirements of KULI simulation analysis software modeling.The validation of model accuracy was made by the comparison between the simulation and the test.The performance of cooling system was simulated through the NEDC driving cycle,which was helpful to the selection and matching of parts in the thermal management system.
