Matching Simulation and Test for Mounting System of a V2 Diesel Engine Used in a Paddy Field Cultivator

A two cylinders V type diesel engine was used as the power for a paddy field cultivator, it has the advantages of small size and light weight, and disadvantages of big vibration. The 6 order vibration frequency of engine was set as the objective to carry out matching calculation of mounting system of this V2 diesel engine and paddy field cultivator, and the best three connecting points was suggested. Several rubber mounts with different hardness were tested on the paddy field cultivator. The test results show that the optimized mount has good isolation performance while avoiding the engine resonance.
