Secondary Metabolites of Morus alba Leaves

The secondary metabolites of Morus alba leaves were analysed with chromatographic and spectral methods.Ten compounds were isolated from the leaves.Their structures were identified as 5,7-dihydroxycoumarin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(1),5,2′,4′-trihydroxyflavone-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(2),scopolin(3),butanedioic(4),3,4-dihydroxylbenzoic acid(5),kaempferol-3-O-(6″-O-2-butenoyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside(6),kaempferol-3,7-di-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(7),uridine(8),thymine(9),D-galactitol(10).Compounds 5~10 were isolated from the genus Morus for the first time.Compound 2 is a novel natural product,and compound 1 is a new compound.
