Contact Toxicity and Chronic Toxicity of Triazophos,an Insecticide for Rice Field,to the Silkworm,Bombyx mori

An experiment on contact toxicity and chronic toxicity of triazophos to the silkworm was conducted in 25 ℃.To the secondinstar larvae,by dropping on the pronotum and toxicant membrane,the LD_(50)was 0.015 μg/larva and 1.41 g/cm~(2)at 96 h after treatment(HAT),respectively.From the second instar,silkworms were fed continuously on mulberry leaves immersed of triazophos solution of different concentration,the LC_(50) at 24 HAT,48 HAT,and at the beginning of the third,fourth and fifth instar was 2.38,1.54,0.97,0.74 and 0.53 mg/L,respectively.The experiment of feeding on triazophos immersed mulberry leaves showed the maximum no effect concentration of triazophos to the silkworm was about 0.04 mg/L.
