Analysis on Selenium Compositions in Tea Leaves

Selenium compositions in tea leaves were analysed with selenium 75tracing.Results showed that proteins and inorganic compositions were about80% and 8% of selenium in tea leaves(dry weight)respectively.Most ofthe selenium proteins were free,except the small amount of the combina-tions of pigments,polyphenols,pectin and nudeic acid.Of the selenium intea leaves,21.91% was in form of selenomethionine.
