Review on Antioxidative Mechanism of Tea Polyphenols

Tea polyphenols (TP) are the key active components of tea with high antioxidative activity. The mechanics expressed in six ways: adjusting the enzyme activities related to free radicals, scavenging free radicals, chelating metal ion, regenerating the antioxidant in organism, synergistic action with other components and improving organic immunity.
