Study on the Component and Immune Activity of Polysaccharides from Tea

WANG Dong feng 1,3 ,LI Jun 2,WANG Chang hong 1, ZHAO Gui wen 3 JIN Yong 2,CHENG Ding ding 1,YE Sheng 1 [WT6BX](1 Key Laboratory of Tea Biotechnology,Anhui Agricultural University,Agricultural Ministry of the Peoples Republic of China,  
Crude polysaccharides(TPS 1)was made from coarse tea by previous methods,and the pure polysaccharides(TPS 2)was purified from TPS 1 by deproteining and through the SephadexG 75 and SephadexG 150 columns The components and immune activity of TPS 1 and TPS 2 were determined and compared with UV,IR,GC,HPLC and conventional methods Results showed that the protein in TPS was conjugated with the polysaccharides TPS is a glycoprotein The TSP showed the recovering effects on the low transforming rate of spleen lymphocytes and the low secretion of interlukin 2(LI 2) in AA rats.Besides,it showed the inhibitory effects on the too high secretion of interlukin 1(IL 1).The immune function of normal mice could be enhanced by TPS The effects of TPS 2 was better than those of TPS 1
