Research progress and trend of the carbon cycle in grassland agroecosystem

Grassland agroecosystem has played an important role in global carbon cycle, which is one of the basic mechanisms of the terrestrial ecosystem carbon cycle and associates with the maintain, development and stability of eco-environment. Review of the research progress and trend in the carbon cycle in grassland agroecosystem is meaningful to carbon cycle of terrestrial ecosystem even to global change research. The grassland carbon cycle in China is still at beginning stage, migration quantity and transforming mechanism of carbon between the plant, the litter and the soil carbon pool are short of integrated research. In this paper some comments on scientific uncertainties and methodologies are put forward to the study of carbon cycling in grassland agroecosystem.
