Effect of oxalic acid on chlorophyll content and antioxidant system of alfalfa under high temperature stress

The effect of oxalic acid solution(5 mmol/L) on cell membrane penetration,content of chlorophyll and antioxidant system of alfalfa under high temperature stress was studied and the results showed that the oxalic acid solution could decrease the effect of high temperature stress on cell membrane penetration and MDA content,meanwhile,the contents of chlorophyll,POD,CAT,SOD,AsA and GSH were increased.These results indicated that the oxalic acid solution could enhance the heat tolerance of alfalfa.
