ZHONG Shan-hui(Foreign language Department,Hunan College of Finance and Economics,Changsha 410502,China)
The influence of L1 negative transfer on English vocabulary collocation acquisition objectively exists. The test taken by 34 subjects indicates that mother language influence exists in word-confusing and word-misusing,nonnative-likeness and part of speech confusion such as vt.and vi,causing the vocabulary collocation errors. Therefore,it's essential to discuss how L1 influences L2 production from the angle of collocation.
