Social Security Demand of Aging Population: A Comparison between China and South Korea

In spite of the difference between rural and urban areas,as well as between different regions,China has a large number of aged people that accounts for a high percentage of its population.In contrast,the structure of aged people in South Korea is mainly different in regions and age levels,and it is not obvious between urban and rural areas.In the perspective of economic background,people in South Korean are rich before being aged,while in China the situation is just on the contrary.According to their own conditions of society and population,the government of China and South Korea adopted different policies in law,system and policies and has achieved remarkable results.
