The Disclosure and Reference of Court Archives in Taiwan Region of China——From the Perspective of the Delivery System of Court Audio and Video Recording

Jiang Lihua;School of Law of Southwest University of Political Science and Law;
As part of the openness of court archives, the audio and video archives of Taiwan's courts are mainly made public through the discs delivery system. This system of Audio and video recording discs in courts of Taiwan was established in 2003 and has been modified several times during more than ten years. The latest amendments in 2016 established loose standards for the delivery system of audio and video recording discs applications in addition to the publication of the trial. The court's audio and video recording discs delivery system involves the measurement of the interests of the parties' right to sue, the protection of privacy and the openness of the judiciary. The affirmative and negated deliveries in the course of amendments are constantly confronted. Due to cultural homology, the relatively perfect the audio and video recording discs delivery system for courts in the Taiwan region deserves reference from the mainland.
