Quick Bird Image Processing and Its Application in the Study of the Surface Rupture Zone of Dong Da Tan

With multi spectral and panchromatic images of Qui ck Bird as source data,the processed image was up to true color,high resolutio n and easy to be identified after bands combination and image fusion of HIS tran sform.Then image was precisely corrected by 6 high precision GCPs which were me asured by GPS in the field.The study concluded that in using the corrected imag e to the research of surface rupture zone,such as Dong Da Tan,where field inve stigaton was very difficult to be carried out due to harsh climate and thin air,the geometrical and structural characteristics of the surface rupture can be di stinctly revealed by Quick Bird image of 0.61m resolution.
