The Analysis and Programming of a Regional Engineering Geological Information System Based on GIS——Taking the example of the study and programming design of the assistant decision system of highway construction engineering geological information of Shan

Taking the example of the study and programming of the assistant decision system of highway construction engineering geological information of Shandong province,the characteristics of the engineering geological information were analyzed.The analysis of engineering geological information system and programming design based on MapGIS was introduced.By using Access database to manage the borehole and testing data,MapGIS graphic library to manage the graphic information,the system adopted such spatial analysis techniques as overlay analysis,DTM analysis etc.to realize automatic analysis of roadbed condition,earthwork volume and so on during the route selection stage.This paper presents a new method for realizing the informatization management and application of the regional engineering geological data.
