Simulation and Analysis of SinglePhase to Ground Fault in The Indirectly Earthed Power System

Through theoretical and simulation analyses and the verification of lots of simulating experiments in 10 kV power network,the transient characteristics of single phase to ground fault in the indirectly earthed power system are deeply studied.And the characteristics and relation between transient zero sequence measurement current in arc earth fault of fault feeder and non fault feeder are emphatically studied,the transient characteristic of single-phase to ground fault is used for the fault line selection and fault distance detection in distribution network.The distribution network simulation model is established for the Neutral Uneffectual Grounded System (NUGS),based on the ATP,such as different short circuit time,arc-resistance,fault distances,line length and the compensation rates of arc-suppression coil,should be put into overall consideration.The signal-phase to ground fault of the NUGS is simulated so as to research the transient characteristics of single-phase to ground fault in distribution network.Through analyzing these transient characteristics The results shows that these transient characteristics can provide the theoretical foundation for studying the detecting single-phase to ground fault methods.
