ThePreparation,Structure and Performance Study of Soild Bio-polymeric Ferric Sulfate

The solid bio-polymeric ferric sulfate(SBPFS) has been prepared via spray drying technology,using microorganism as a catalyst.Based on the optimization of spray drying technology condition,several researches have been carried out to modify SBPFS in order to improve its flocculation performance.SBPFS has also been analyzed by a variety of characterization methods subsequently.The results show that the optimal supply air rate,drying temperature and feedstock speed are 2.75m~3/min,220℃ and 1100mL/h,respectively.The optimal modified[SO_4~(2-)]/[Fe]and basicity are 1:1.20-1:1.40 and 10.46 for the modification of SBPFS.Additionally,SBPFS with hollow sphere structure is composed of amorphous hydroxyl bridging iron(Ⅲ) polymer 3 withcoordination water molecules.The crinkled surface is due to the presence of flexible and thin biomass film.Furthermore,the physicochemical indicators of SBPFS conform to the National Standard,and the removal rate of turbidity and COD_(Mn) is able to meet the demands of make-up water pretreatment in power plant.
