Determination of copper and iron by means of digestion,combination of carbonification and digestion in pretreatment of plant feedstuffs specimens

The experiment chose the representative feedstuffs,and used the three sorts of different pretreating methods,namely,dry ashing,digestion,combination of carbonification and digestion to treat feed specimens for determination of copper and iron.The precision,accuracy,times,difficulty and pollution of the different treating methods were synthetically compared to find the practical meanings of different methods in analysis of copper and iron in feeds.The results showed that the precision,accuracy and analysis results of digestion,combination of carbonification and digestion were not remarkably different with the national standard.Therefore,in the determination of copper and iron in plant feeds,national standard can be replaced by digestion and combination of carbonification and digestion.
