WANG Haibo, YANG Ben, XING Houjuan, XU Shiwen(College of Veterinary Medicine, Northeast Agricultural University, Harbin 150030, China)
The mean method of Weil′s table was used to determine the LD50 of the male duck induced by Nitrobenzene(NB). The results showed that the oral LD50 of the male duck induced by NB was 447.20 mg·kg-1 BW, the 95% confidence limit was 210.09-951.92 mg·kg-1 BW. The poisoned male ducks mainly showed nerves symptoms, the lesions were thickened stomach wall and sloughed mucosa of stomachus glandularis, and synathroi-sis of intestinal tract. The results indicate that NB has acute toxicity effect on the make duck.
