Effect of drought stress on physiological and biochemical characteristics in leaves of soybean seedlings

GAO Lei, LIU Lijun, DONG Shoukun, ZU Wei,SUN Congshu (College of Agriculture, Northeast Agricultural University, Harbin 150030, China)  
Studied on the physiological and biochemical change of soybean seedlings under drought stress treatment at the condition of potting from chlorophyll, soluble sugar, free proline (Pro), malondialdehyde (MDA) content and superoxide dismutase activity changes ect aspects. The results showed that with the strengthening of drought stress, the chlorophyll content decreased, while the contents of soluble sugar (WSS), free Proline (Pro), malomdiadehyde (MDA) gradually increased, and them the activity of superoxygen dismutase(SOD) were slowly enhanced.
