Spatial-temporal variation characteristics of vegetation NPP of northern Sanjiang plain from 2000 to 2013

Using the least square method and pixel by pixel correlation analysis method, combined with the Sanjiang plain land use change data, this paper analysed the change of annual vegetation NPP in north of Sanjiang plain from 2000 to 2013, obtaining data about the change of NPP's trend, the paddy field expansion and the spatial correlation of NPP in the study area. The results showed that, being driven by rapid expansion of the paddy field in the northern area of Sanjiang plain, the value of NPP showed slow decline then rising volatility, and the overall trend of NPP showed a linear increase trend. The inter annual variation trend of NPP was obviously increasing, the basic rule for the annual NPP value of relatively low area, the increasing trend was weak, and vice verse. The expansion of paddy field and NPP value of the correlation analysis showed that from the dry land to paddy field area, expansion and change of paddy field NPP values have a positive correlation; the marsh and forest land turn into paddy field area, paddy field expansion and NPP had negative correlation. The study preliminary proved that the method of farming was one of the most important factors influencing the change of NPP.
