STUDIES ON THE REQUIREMENTS AND MODELS OF ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS AND PROTEIN IN THE PEAK FOR LAYING HENS

week-old Lohmann-Brown hens were assigned to 5 groups, 25 for each group. The results showed: 1) Egg mass was improved significantly (P0.01) when the protein levels in diet increased from 11.7% to 14.6%. 2) The compositions or amino acids in livebody were constant in the period of experiment. 3) The models or amino acids based on the regression relationships between amino acid intakes and the requirements of amino acids from egg mass and maintenance were obstained. The requirements and patterns of amino acids in the peak for laying hens were estimated depending on the models.
