Experimental Study on Temperature in Belt Grinding

Mao Yining,Wang Wanshan, Shan Ruilan, Wang Bo,Lu Shubin  
A system of data collecting and handling system was designed for dynamic grinding temperature in surface belt grinding. The peak temperature and distribution of surface temperature in belt grinding were experimentally studied, and a calculating method of peak surface temperature is proposed. The variation of peak temperature, surf ace temperature distribution and burn-off area are thus obtained. which will provide a guide to the prevention of deterioration in practical belt grinding.
