The Preparation and Properties of NiAl(Co) Intermetallic Bulk Nano-Materials

The NiAl(Co)bulk nano materials with the grain from 300 to 480 nm and 91% densified degree of the compacts, were prepared by NiAl(Co) nano powder by hot pressing(HP). At room temperature, the compress yields strength of bulk nano material is 1?250~1?400?MPa, which is 3 1~3 5 times than that of the cast NiAl. In the compressive experiments the nano materials have good compressive plasticity at room temperature,Ni 50 Al 40 Co 10 nano materials can be compressed higher than 30% without crack, and Ni 50 Al 45 Co 5 nano materials in 980?℃ can be compressed 19.5% without fracture. Moreover,the properties of the double phase nano materials containing γ'are better than to those of single phase nano materials.
