Evaluation of Radiative Direct-Exchange Areas in Furnaces

The paper presents a new approach to the computation of direct-exchange areas in radiativeheat transfer,i. e,the number-mesh method. By using the optimum number-mesh coefficient instead of multiple integration, some numerical experiments were made. The computing value show that this method hasmany advantages over successively partial subdivision mehtod, such as time-saving on computer,more accurate and error control.
