Hydrogen Induced Ductile Brittle Transition Behavor in 7175 Aluminium Alloy

Song Renguo,Zeng Meiguang,Zhang Baojin  
Effects of hydrogen on the mechanics of different aged state 7175 aluminium alloy have been in vestigated by means of cathodic H permeation,slow strain rate tension and so on. The results indicate that yield stress,fracture strength as well as elongation decrease as aging time increases and the degree of reduction decreases as aging time increases at the same hydrogen charging time.
