New Process of Multipurpose Utilization of Ludwigte

The new process of multipurpose utilization of ludwigite was studied in laborotory.Boroconcentrate (B 2O 313%,TFe~5%) and ferroconcentrate containing boron (TFe~55%,B 2O 3~5%) were gotten with classification magnetic separation. The boroconcentrate,heated for improving activity to 90% on the condition of 750~800℃,could be produced borax (Na 2B 4O 7·10H 2O) directly by chinese soda CO 23 process. Ferroconcentrate containing boron could be made as boron containing additives in sinter and pellet production or be separeted boron and iron through selective reduction (direct reduction melted separation) that could get iron and steel,high activity B 2O 3 slag that could be produced borax directly. Ludwigite could be multipurpose utilized on this process.
