Application of Warehouse & Data Mining Technology to Hunan Reservoir Scheduling

So far, waterpower-scheduling automation systems in power networks have been built in the National Electric Power Dispatching and Communication Center and numerous regional provincial power dispatching and communication centers with waterpower. By use of ripe theories and the newest technology from the end of the 20th century to the beginning of the 21st century, these systems have abundant functions. They are stable, reliable, and practical, and the requirements for drainage area watching, flood control, and waterpower dispatching are satisfied basically. For further studies on the internal rules of reservoir inflow and reservoir scheduling, and exploitation of the potential of waterpower, the application of warehouse data mining technology to the assistant decision-making of reservoir scheduling is expounded, and a practical case is introduced of the Hunan waterpower scheduling automation system in the provincial power network.
