GeoMoS Automatic Monitoring System and Monitoring Data Accuracy Analysis

GeoMoS is a monitoring system based on client/server technology and measure robot for the need of modern monitoring to measure continuously the displacement of buildings, dams, slopes, etc. The soft ware characteristics, system composites and hardware structures of the GeoMoS are introduced and analyzed. For the evaluation of the measurement accuracy of the GeoMoS, an experiment is conducted in a standard base line field. The results from manual measurement and GeoMoS automatic measurement are then compared and analyzed. The reliability of the GeoMoS system is evaluated. A case study is given to show the application of the GeoMoS system.
