CATR extraneous waves analysis using time domain approach

The electrical testing readjustment is an important procedure to ensure compact antenna test range (CATR) performance. In this process, necessary electrical and mechanical readjustment will be done according to electrical performance test results. Any possible extraneous waves will be removed or be under control to the full. Based on the plane wave spectrum (PWS) theory, the direction and power level of adaxial extraneous waves can be distinguished by different incident angles. However, it will fail in distinguishing extraneous waves in the same or near direction. Under this condition, the time domain approach can be used as an aided tool.
