Preliminary investigation of radiation of nanotube array

A novel radiator composed of nanotube array is presented in this paper. The distribution of electrons along the axial direction of nanotube in a nanotube is analyzed by means of quantum mechanics and electrodynamics. Simulated and measured results demonstrate that the carbon nanotube can radiate microwaves with the same frequency as the microwave excitation.
