Design of dual-frequency multi-polarization spaceborne precipitation measuring radar system parameters

The next generation spaceborne precipitation measuring radar will adopt dual-frequency and multi-polarization mode and this type of radar is the natural trend of remote sensing techniques.In this article,dual-frequency,Doppler and multi-polarization spaceborne and airborne precipitation measuring radar is studied and system parameters are analyzed,preparing for research on new generation of precipitation measuring radar.Key parameters such as frequency,polarization,scanning angles,pulse repetition frequency and transmitting power are analyzed in detail,and meteorological radar equation for pulse-compression system is deduced.
