Study on Propagation Characteristics of the VLF Through the Earth Communication Channel

ZHANG Qing yi, ZHU Jian ming (China University of Mining and Techmology, Beijing 100083, China)  
The VLF Through the Earth Communication system is recognized as the most reliable way of conveying dispatching information due to its special transmission media. This paper investigates the propagating characteristics of the layered earth in a loop antenna case, the result can be served as a helpful guideline for the system design and application.
